Have you guys ever had annoying co-workers? Oh my god, it was so hard for me to stop myself from snapping today. I know annoying co-workers are everywhere, but I feel like in my case, it's most of them. Time to leave. Ugh. There is this one girl at work who likes to talk about food all the time. Ok good for her that she loves her food, but she is always standing over another girl's cubicle and they are both giggling and talking in high pitched voice about food!! I mean yeah I like my share of Chinese food too, but to talk about it in almost an obscene way! No, I am not crazy, they really do that! This girl even goes out of her way to get food from her favorite food places during lunch hour, sometimes taking more time than the alloted* lunch time. Doesn't she eat enough Chinese food at her own house? (She is Chinese)
And then there are two grown men who are always making inappropriate jokes and giggling like silly school girls. UGH! It's all true. I am not making them up. I work at a freaking circus. Man, I just wanted to slap them all silly today.
Sorry I didn't mean to be all bitchy and all, just a bad day today. I should just go to sleep and hope for a better day tomorrow.
Annoying coworkers

She drives me nuts! To me ... I would rather pick up a second job than get government assistance. I know it is there for people who truely need it, but I don't think I am one of those people. Not that I am stubborn, or anything like that ... I just truely believe there are people out there who need the help more than I do. I also work .. A LOT ... which is a foreign concept to this chic ... which is how I pay for most of our things. I also have a pretty amazing set of parents, which she likes to tell me all the time how jealous she is that they "buy us so much stuff." I've learned to block her out.
I have a lot of WEIRD coworkers ... but I'm a server, so that is to be expected. I won't even go into the one who told me the other day I must be miserable since I am so "overweight." LOL ... sigh.

This is the problem with welfare recipients that I have, they always feel as though they are "beating the system" it drives me nuts. Years ago when my mom was not working she could not get any assistance because she had $5k in the bank saved for a rainy day~like her lay off, but yet denied, even though she would have blew through the $5k in a few months (mortgage, car payments etc)But she found a job, thank goodness. And then there is my mom friend who goes through all this paper work to get $10 in food stamp and she thinks she's beating the system

Don't commiserate with someone about 'bitchy remarks' if you're going to turn around and do the same, particularly behind the person's back.
At least Reginaastralis had the opportunity (taken or not) to say something to her attacker - the ones you've gossiped about, did not.
Reginaastralis - next time some one says something about your weight, or anything else offensive, don't hold back - give as good as you get whether it's 'politically correct' or not. AT LEAST SAY SOMETHING!
